Would you like to see -A Thousand Cranes- performed in your school?
This is the deeply moving tale of Sadako Sasaki and her wish to fold 1000 paper cranes in order to get well again after the 1945 bombing of Hiroshima.
A concord of live theatre, contemporary dance, music and aerial silks – this performance goes for 45mins and is suitable for Year 4 upwards.
With curriculum links to Drama, Dance, Music, Japanese and HASS – all we need is a performance space of 7x7x7m – we bring our own aerial silks rig – We are certain your students have never seen anything like this in their own school!
“Without exception they all give terrific performances, bringing to life this deeply moving tale about death and hope. It is without doubt, for me, the strongest and most consistent and uniformly most powerful ensemble of community actors that I have recently seen in Adelaide.” – Tony Knight, Stage Whispers
